Thirty minutes away. A large sea port (Brittany Ferries, Condor Ferries). A walled city surrounding the Cathedral. Excellent shopping, restaurants and night life.

Dinard

Thirty-five minutes away.  On the Rance Estuary with beautiful panoramic views.  Superb sandy beach, lots of bars and cafe's. Planes land daily from Stansted Airport.

Mont St. Michel

Forty Minutes away. On the Emerald coast. This exceptional site is among the most often visited in France. The town fortress was built on a rocky outcrop.

Dinan

Some say this is Brittany's most evocative town.  Timbered houses, some on wooden pillars, make this a striking example of middle ages architecture. Excellent shopping and memorable restaurants make this a really worthwhile visit.

Rennes

Forty-five minutes. Plenty of shops and street-side cares. Above all else though, Rennes is dominated by its latest offering to the modern shopping experience, the enormous Geant Centre which is packed with all manner of shops, snack bars and cafes.

Other activities

Golf: there are more than half a dozen golf courses in the area, many are linked to the St Malo golf course and so green fees cover then all.

Cycling: we have a number of cycles which we provide free of charge, depending on availability. Alternatively there are hire shops in both Dol and Ponterson, a very short distance away. The roads around the properties are very quiet and offer excellent rides with rollling hills, lakes and woods.

Hiking: excellent area for hiking. If you want to go for the whole day we would be pleased to provide you with a packed lunch and refreshment.
